Absolutely! Non-profit associations are exposed to the risk of D&O claims. Some examples are discrimination, harassment, wrongful dismissal, failure to supervise and to conduct due diligence, violation of federal or provincial statue. Since non-profit associations have no exposure to potential shareholder claims, the risk associated is lower than that of public companies, and therefore the premiums are proportionately lower.
