OSHA recordkeeping & regulatory update

Learn about the latest federal OSHA recordkeeping changes.

OSHA has increased electronic reporting requirements for senior living communities with 100+ employees.

The new rule requires communities with more than 100 employees to report information from all OSHA recordkeeping forms, not just the 300A summary report. The deadline for electronic submission of these forms is March 2nd, while the OSHA 300A summary report must be completed and posted in all communities from February 1st through April 30th.

Scott Bertulis from our Senior Living & LTC Industry Practice recently provided an overview of the latest federal and state OSHA updates as well as resources and detailed instructions for:

  • Maintaining all required OSHA recordkeeping forms
  • Posting requirements for your, 300A summary reports
  • Serious injury & illness reporting
  • Electronic reporting requirements
  • OSHA’s current inspection targeting programs
  • OSHA day count calendars for 2023 and 2024
