Global Head of Placement
John was appointed as Global Head of Placement January 2024 as and is responsible for Marsh’s retail and wholesale broking activities. He works with Marsh’s regional placement leaders to drive an aligned global placement strategy, ensuring that we continue to meet the evolving needs of our clients. John also leads our carrier integration and digital market engagement initiatives.
John has more than 40 years of experience in placement, risk and insurance. He returned to Marsh in 2013 as Head of Placement for Asia Pacific, a position he held for 10 years before moving to London and his current role in 2024.
He has built a reputation as one of the leading placement brokers in the global market, with a depth of experience in structuring complex placements and designing innovative client-focused solutions to support the risk transfer needs of clients in an evolving risk landscape.
Throughout his career, John has built strategic market relationships, locally and globally.
