Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor and a business of Marsh McLennan, today announced the appointment of Gamze Konyar as Head of Cyber, Europe, Marsh Specialty, effective immediately. Ms. Konyar is based in Berlin and reports to Nilay Ozden, Head of Marsh Specialty, Europe, and Thomas Reagan, Global Cyber Practice Leader, Marsh Specialty.
Earlier in the year, Marsh announced enhancements to its global cyber capabilities that integrated Marsh’s cyber offering across insurance, risk intelligence, incident management, and cybersecurity around the world. In her new role, Ms. Konyar is responsible for developing and enabling the growth of the cyber practice within Marsh Specialty in Europe to support clients as they transform their cyber capabilities to achieve greater resilience.
Ms. Konyar has over 15 years of experience in risk and insurance with more than six years with Marsh dedicated to cyber. She has a strong track record of accomplishments from her prior role as Head of Marsh’s cyber practice for Central and Eastern Europe and Eastern Mediterranean regions. Previously, she led the Corporate and Sales function for Marsh Cyber Europe.
