Will Thomas-Ferrand is the Global Leader of Marsh Captive Solutions, overseeing a global team of 600 professionals and managing approximately 1,900 captives across more than 50 domiciles, with a premium volume of $73 billion. With over 20 years of experience in the captive insurance industry, Will is recognized as a leading expert and was named one of the most influential figures in the sector by Captive Review in both 2019 and 2024.
Before his current role, Will served as the International Practice Leader for Marsh Captive Solutions, where he directed operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. His career began at Deloitte as an auditor, and he holds a Master’s degree in Earth Sciences (Geology) from Oxford University. Will is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and an Associate in Risk Management with the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters. He is based in the United Kingdom.
